Our brief history
Founded in Beirut in the Sixties and a member of the Lebanese Syndicate of Contractors since 1970, COROMO is one of the most versatile construction companies operating in the region. Throughout four decades, COROMO has provided general contracting services, including Building, Heavy Civil, and Industrial construction, to public agencies and private sector clients looking for a dependable partner in their construction endeavors. In keeping with the ever-progressing demands of our clients, Construction Management and Design-build services were added to help set COROMO apart as one of the few companies in the region that provide complete, engineered solutions to complex construction challenges.
Our formula for long-term success relies heavily on our ability to recognize future trends, to adapt quickly to changing markets while keeping traditional core competencies, and to execute with the proficiency, safety and quality we have become known for.
Our decentralized structure promotes enthusiasm, leadership, and accountability. We pride ourselves on the individual talents of each of our managers and workers, which, when called upon to perform together on a project, result in a true sense of team accomplishment.
Our ability to attract and retain the highest quality engineers, superintendents and craftsman is what enables us to take on the most complex projects with confidence. In an industry where risk-reward is not always balanced, we must continue to evolve and find better ways to engineer and construct. Designer/Builder relationship is what COROMO has always been about. Very few projects in the construction arena are without issues related to as-bid design vs. as-built construction. Our obligation is to embrace the Design partner and the Owner/Client on each project to ensure a positive outcome for all parties.
